From the Principal

Welcome to Howards Grove Middle School!

It is an honor to be a part of the Howards Grove Middle School community. This community includes a dedicated staff, excellent students, and supportive families.  Our goal is to provide a positive, safe, and inviting environment where all students can learn academically and grow personally.

Howards Grove Middle School is a one-to-one technology learning environment in which students are each issued Chromebooks and are taught digital citizen and technology skills. English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as a rotation of Encore Courses: Agriculture Education, Art, Band, Choir, Computer Applications, Family And Consumer Sciences, Library, Life Skills, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and Technology Education are instructed.

At Howards Grove Middle School we believe in the development of the whole student. Staff have begun Mindfulness training, to benefit academic and social-emotional improvements, in our school and will be integrating it into our classrooms. Many of our students also participate in Extracurricular Activities such as: Art activities, Athletics, Drama, FACS activities, Math Competitions, Solo and Ensemble, and Student Council.
