Juniors who would like to practice for the Science section of the ACT are invited to Mrs. Bell's room next Monday during advisement. This is for JUNIORS only and will continue the next couple of weeks up until the state ACT test on March 10th. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Bell or Mrs. TenPas.
Last week, students from Howards Grove competed in the UW Stout Skills USA Regional Competition in Menominee Wisconsin. The team of Shalia Randall, Gordon Janicek and Sopia Schwartz took 1st place in Team Engineering with a cardboard bridge that held over 70 pounds. Shalia Randall also took 1st place in the Facilithon, which is a Facilities Management Contest.
Congratulations to the following students who have had their artwork selected to be part of the Youth Art Month at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center! Jameson Cedzo, Liam Beaudoin, London Carlson, Madi Bower, and Alexia Hendrickson
This exhibition runs from Feb 28-April 5, 2026 and showcases high artistic achievement and creativity of the students in Sheboygan County. A reception for all of the new exhibitions will take place on Sat. March 14 1:00-4:00. Entrance to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center is free of charge.
Congratulations to Gena Harmms, Macey Schueler, and Nicole Van Dalen for demonstrating high achievement in the visual arts! Their artwork was selected from the regional show to move on to the state exhibition. The state exhibition will be on display at East Towne Mall in Madison starting March 1 -March 27. A closing reception for the artists will be held on Friday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
There are still two days to sign up to donate blood at the NHS blood drive in the gym this Thursday. You must be 16 or older to donate. Scan the code on one of the posters in the halls, or see Mrs. Elias with any questions. The need for blood is urgent. Please consider donating to make a huge difference in someone’s life.
